H. Valenzuela is a mask maker based in Oklahoma.

Her hand-crafted, papier-mache masks are inspired by her Venezuelan and Okie heritage and incorporate elements of Venezuela/Okie culture and wildlife. They are created as a call for many blessings of good health, equality, and peace. Each piece has its own story, involving her dreams, historical symbolism, and sometimes whimsical encounters. Ask her for a story!
